Digital Loop Carrier System (NEC)

Among the projects developed in collaboration with NEC stands out project "Fibber Access System FA-1201", where INOV has participated with NEC Networks and NEC Brazil in the specification, development and test of the system, an Access Network in fibber optics and respective management system. It is a flexible system that supports IDLC (Integrated Digital Loop Carrier) topologies and Digital UDLC (Universal Digital Link Carrier).

INOV was also responsible for the development of software for the common control unit (CCU). This software was developed using CASE (Computer-Aided Software Engineering) tools, using high level SDL (Specification Description Language) and SOMT (SDL Oriented Object Modelling Technique) and automatic code generation. This system is installed in different parts of the world.
