Microwave oven INESC/INOV was
a node of the network of European technology transfer entities (TTN-Technology
Transfer Network) in the scope of the European project FUSE - First
User on Microelectronics. INESC/INOV responsibility was the realisation
of consulting actions and close cooperation with SMEs in the whole
area of Portugal, in concerted actions with the remaining European
network.
One of the success examples in this project was the introduction of a new controller in the last microwave oven marketed by the company TEKA-Portugal, designed and developed at INESC/INOV and specified in agreement with the customer's specifications.
