With commercial applications being marketed such as HBH-10 headset from Ericsson, Mobile Phone R520, Cordless Web Screen H610, Motorola Timeport 270, together with a variety of USB/PCcard/Cflash adaptors, everybody using the Bluetooth technology has created the need to access the existent networks, for services and contents, using these Bluetooth devices.



While others have focused their developments in ADSL/Bluetooth access points as bridges/routers of voice and data for PSTN/GSM networks and internet, INOV provides these solutions for the common ISDN access.

Based on the developed and certified ISDN boards, and in the product DECT-ISDN already marketed, INOV has developed a Bluetooth-ISDN Base Station.

The development team from INOV has accumulated experience over 10 years of product development and industrialisation for several multinationals in Europe, U.S.A. and Japan.

INOV also develops other products in areas that include PSTN, ADSL, Ethernet, ATM, DECT, Bluetooth, 802.11b, TETRA, GSM, UMTS.

Usage scenarios

The Base Station allows the access to wireless 3G and WWW services, indoors, using existing terminal equipment in the market (e.g. Motorola Timeport 270, Ericsson R570). Whenever necessary, tariff and/or bandwidth control can be implemented.

The indoor use of Bluetooth allows the operation as a mobile extension of an ISDN network, for home or office usage, with use of a mobile telephone with Bluetooth (e.g. Motorola Timeport 270, Ericsson R570).

Safe commercial transactions through a secure POS (Point Of Sale) interface.
Payments using safe connections using Mobile Telephones or PDAs with Bluetooth, that can be used as electronic wallets or credit/debit cards. The Bluetooth-ISDN Base Station from INOV offers digital interconnection with existing ATM networks.
