On September 25, 2001 a protocol was signed between 18 organisations, including INOV, with which the organisations have joined Project “Mão na Mão” (Hand in Hand), constituting the first entrepreneurial movement for volunteer work in our country. The participating companies in this project offer, in a consistent and structured way, a day of work of its collaborators to a social cause, that is to say, the employees that voluntarily adhere to the project are, in the dates corresponding to the execution of planned actions, released of their functions so that they are totally available for the designated initiative.

The actions conducted in this project are directed towards private institutions of social solidarity and non governmental organisations that intervene namely in areas like citizens with severe diseases, citizens with special needs or senior people.

INOV has joined, in this initiative, PT Comunicações, Marconi, TMN, PT Prime, Telepac, Lusomundo, TV Cabo, PT Inovação, Siemens, Companhia IBM Portuguesa, TELEMANutenção, Eurosistema, EditoraRH, BP Portuguesa, LEVERELIDA, Xerox Portugal, Microsoft and, in the beginning of 2003, DELTA Cafés and SACOOR Brothers.
