"Breaking Barriers Award"

At the end of 2001, two telephone set-ups developed by INOV were nominated for the European Commission Prize "Breaking Barriers Award", which recognises exceptional achievements of the European companies and organisations that promote the Universal Design by developing products, solutions and services of extended access for people with special needs.

The Second Prize in the competition "ANIMEE Awards for Innovation and Creativity" for the work Base Station DECT-ISDN, promoted by the National Industry Association of Electrical and Electronic Materials, in collaboration with Mobile Communication Unit, ENDIEL 2001 and Matosinhos.
