The Project ATHOC (ATM Applications over Hybrid Optical Fibre Coax) of the Advanced Communications Technologies and Services (ACTS) Programme aimed at development and testing of broadband services over hybrid fibre-coaxial cable (HFC) networks. The project ran from September 1995 until June 1999.
