In-IVR - Platform of Interactive Voice Services

The INOV In-IVR™ platform [DEMO] allows the telephone interaction of customers with services provided by the Telecommunications Operators, reducing costs by means of the reduction of resources and wait lines in call-centres.
The In-IVR™ platform from INOV is an answer to the demands of the world of today's telecommunications, in a way adapted to the customers' expectations. One of the main advantages of the platform is the fast release of new services by the Telecommunications Operator, with facilitated interaction with varied external environments (e.g. proprietary databases, modification of existing services, and introduction of new services).

The main competitive advantages of the INOV In-IVR™ platform of are:
  • Scalability: The platform is scalable, based on the minimum configuration of 30 channels and a few calls per day, expandable to distributed systems with several processing centres serving hundreds of thousands calls each day.
  • Reliability: The systems based on In-IVR™ platforms have excellent period of standalone functioning, reaching several consecutive months without need of intervention. In redundant configurations with more than one machine, the services may typically operate at 100% capacity in the 24/7 mode for an arbitrarily long period of time.
  • Open architecture: The INOV In-IVR ™ platforms are, in essence, open systems, capable of supporting services whose features can be defined ad hog, such as the voice used, the dialogue stages, the database to be accessed, etc. Additionally, service spectrum can be expanded to fax, Internet, e-mail, SMS, WAP, etc., depending on the client needs.
  • Simplicity: In-IVR ™ platforms can be interpreted as "black boxes" with a pre-defined behaviour, typically with two terminals: a terminal for access to the primary reception and call transmission and a TCP/IP terminal to access one or more databases.
The In-IVR™ characteristics are combined in a way to ensure the service reliability, based on the contemporary modular and versatile technology, with the possibility to evolve in accordance with the customer needs and everlasting progress in the telecommunications sector.

The INOV platforms are provided with the post-sale guarantee. Their operation is supported by our maintenance and technical assistance teams.

Our clients
Nowadays the In-IVR ™ platforms provided by INOV serve to support the most important products and services of such companies as Portugal Telecom and TMN. They have been used by MAXITEL, with the speech-recognition features, FAX, Internet and by manufacturers and suppliers such as Dialogic, Philips, Nuance, Siemens and Ericsson.

The implemented services range from the information services to systems configuring customer's data with the traffic of more than 400,000 calls per day via fixed or mobile networks. The In-IVR™ platform of INOV currently integrates the switchboard such as EWSD from Siemens or AXE from Ericsson using, in some cases, specific protocols.

The speech recognition involves sets from some tens up to some tens of thousands of words. The voice synthesis is implemented in various forms, from using some pre-recorded phrases to professional-quality concatenation of more than 10,000 words or even using the TTS technology for some pertinent cases.

The redundant configurations are able to recover from failures in a fast and automatic manner often undetectable to the customer. The reliability is high, with the key components characterised by MTBF longer than 10 years. The platform In-IVR™ provided by INOV can be coupled in a very natural way with the INOV platform for maintenance, monitoring, and alarming SIMA™, ensuring the highest quality of services round-the-clock.
