Controllers for Water Heaters

Along several years INOV/INESC has been developing and industrialising several products for water heaters, namely for VULCANO (Portuguese subsidiary of Bosch). The following cases where success examples:



  • Controllers for ventilated water heaters with automatic pilot flame.
  • Controllers for ventilated water heaters without pilot flame and automatic control of temperature, called CELSIUS.
  • Controllers for water heaters with pressurized injection, with control of temperature.
  • New Controller (THARIS) with reduced cost, having new safety technology and with a new IC (Integrated Circuit).
