Being supported by the STREP program of the European Commission, the project RAMATI (RApid MAnufacturing of Titanium Implants) aims at developing Laser Powder Deposition technique for the rapid production of small size customised titanium implants and prosthesis for dental applications on the basis of a 3D model of the patient's jaw.
