Project ARMAS

ARMS was a development project for the European Space Agency, aiming to evaluate the feasibility and technological environment of an intelligent car navigation system, which ensure high levels of safety and availability, even providing the means for the operation from the platform for dynamic and efficient management of the Traffic Control. The services utilised the Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), taking the advantage of the increased capabilities offered by EGNOS and Galileo. The INOV partners in this project were Skysoft Portugal, Auto-Estradas of the Atlantic, Lusoponte and Morais Leitao, J. Galvão Teles & Associates.
