The project SHEEL, Secure and Harmonised European Electronic Logbook, carried out within the STREP programme of the European Commission, aims at the development, implementation and demonstration of an electronic logbook operating with the European-level information safety in the fishery area — in order to put into practice the European regulations ensuring the exploitation of aquatic resources in a sustainable way and the improvement of the economic and social conditions in the fishery sector.
