Being launched within the scope of the Digital Inclusion initiative of the Operational Program "Knowledge Society" (POSC, Programa Operacional Sociedade do Conhecimento), this project aimed at the implementation and production of a national database of technical aids that could be accessible by Internet. The project was based on the Portal of Technical Help implemented under the protocol established between UMIC, SNRIPD and INOV in December 2004.
