The project Access Portal was developed within the framework of the Digital Inclusion initiative of the Operational Program "Knowledge Society" (POSC, Programa Operacional Sociedade do Conhecimento), whose purpose was to facilitate Internet access to people with low vision in a computer-independent and software-independent manner. A set of tools was developed to achieve this goal using visual, auditory and Braille interfaces.
