Being a part of the Digital Inclusion initiative of the Operational Program "Knowledge Society" (POSC, Programa Operacional Sociedade do Conhecimento), this project aimed at developing a voice synthesiser corresponding to European Portuguese phonetics and providing for free the interface/synthesizer set to users that already have the voice equipment. Availability in the domestic market of TTS licenses was also provided.
