The initiative is based on collaboration between INOV INESC Inovação and GTE Consultants, and is funded by the national programme QREN.
Despite numerous advantages of the development of model-based systems, visualization of these models becomes difficult due to the complexity of information circulating in organizations. To respond to this concern of managers, the software company Quidgest proposed to its reference partners a challenge to create the project "First Sight Model".
The "First Sight Model" intends to build an engineering framework based on models with multiple layers of abstraction that allows, on the one hand, to visualize and manage globally the development and evolution of complex information systems and, on the other hand, to facilitate its perception to business experts and top managers.
Introducing the system which acts as an efficient artificial-intelligence expert, this project will allow to reduce costs related to human resources and to provide higher quality solutions to the customer, which will be tested more frequently and with greater involvement of end users and key decision makers.
